Spoiler Warning: This review contains major spoilers, including discussion of the ending. We Still Kill the Old Way is a gritty 2014 British crime thriller with a wonderfully simple premise: when retired East End gangster Charlie Archer is murdered by a vicious street gang, his brother Ritchie returns to London and gathers some of his old associates to deal with the people responsible. And frankly, after seeing what this gang is capable of, I was quite happyREAD FULL REVIEW…

Spoiler Warning: This Vendetta movie review contains significant spoilers, including discussion of the murders and ending. Vendetta is certainly not a film for the squeamish. This 2013 British revenge thriller, written and directed by Stephen Reynolds, stars Danny Dyer as Jimmy Vickers, a former Special Forces interrogation officer who returns home to discover that his parents have been brutally murdered. What follows is an extremely violent, sometimes gruesome and surprisingly compelling story of revenge. And I’m goingREAD FULL REVIEW…

Warning: This Lollipop review contains spoilers. There are films that entertain, films that make you think, and then there are films like Lollipop that completely break your heart. The film centres around Molly, playedREAD FULL REVIEW…

Warning: This Everybody Loves Sunshine review contains spoilers. My review of Everybody Loves Sunshine begins with a simple observation: this is not an easy film to watch. Released in 1999 and also known as B.U.S.T.E.D., the movie throws viewers headfirst into a violent world of gang culture, revenge, loyalty, and redemption. Directed by Andrew Goth, who also stars in the film, it features memorable performances from Goldie, David Bowie, and a talented supporting cast. From the openingREAD FULL REVIEW…

Warning: This Fuze review contains spoilers. I recently watched the 2024 movie Fuze, the British thriller starring Theo James and Sam Worthington, and while I was thoroughly engaged during the first half of the film, I ultimately came away feeling a little disappointed by where the story ended up. The premise is certainly intriguing. After an unexploded World War II bomb is discovered in London, a massive evacuation operation begins. Amid the chaos, a criminal gang seesREAD FULL REVIEW…
